Central District (Kangan County)

The Central District of Kangan County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان کنگان) is a district (bakhsh) in Kangan County, Bushehr Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 40,793, in 8,663 families.[1] The District has three cities: Bandar Kangan, Bank, and Bandar Siraf (Taheri). The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Howmeh Rural District and Taheri Rural District.
