The barrier against tunnels along the Israel-Gaza Strip border (or The smart wall on the Israel-Gaza Strip border[1][2][3]) is an Israeli governmental project currently under construction which aims to construct a smart underground slurry wall along the Israel-Gaza Strip border. Its purpose is to prevent Hamas from digging tunnels into Israel.

The engineering project includes excavation to classified depths, and the construction of thick concrete walls combined with alarm devices. The construction of the wall is estimated to cost up to ₪3 billion.[4]
