Lost Girls is a band that primarily consists of Patrick Fitzgerald and Heidi Berry. They formed in 1998 after Fitzgerald left Kitchens of Distinction and Berry left 4AD, which had released three of her albums after her appearance on This Mortal Coil's 1991 album Blood.[1]

From 1998 to 1999 they played a handful of shows, including supporting John Martyn at the Mean Fiddler in London, and wrote and recorded what would become their self-titled album.[1] The band initially started off as a duo but soon ended up as a 5 piece band which included Ashley Wood on guitar, Dave Morgan (The Loft, Primal Scream, The Rockingbirds) on drums, and Kim Smith on bass.

They released only one single during this period, 'Needle's Eye'. Their album Lost Girls was released in 2014 by 3 Loop Music on vinyl, download, and as a 2CD expanded edition which also included demos and other material.[1]
