Aoraia hespera is a species of moth of the family Hepialidae. It is endemic to New Zealand.

The wingspan is about 55 mm for males. The forewing colour pattern is ash-white on grey-brown with a pale subterminal band broken at half length, and with a conspicuous, pallid basal patch. The hindwings are smoky brown.[1]
