The St. Joseph Cathedral[1] (Template:Lang-fr)[2] It is a religious building belonging to the Catholic Church and is the seat of the Archdiocese of Gatineau (Archidiocèse de Gatineau or Archidioecesis Gatinensis), in the administrative region of Outaouais,[3] in the province of Quebec[4] in eastern Canada. It is located in the district of Hull, at 245 Saint-Joseph Boulevard in Gatineau.

Its construction began in 1951 and ended the following year under the plan and design of Lucien Sarra-Bournet. It has been declared[by whom?] religious heritage.[citation needed]
