The 1904–05 season was the third season for Madrid FC. The club played some friendly matches against local clubs. They also played in the Madrid Championship and Copa del Rey.

- 21 May: Real Madrid was a founding member of The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA)[2]
- April: Carlos Padrós, President of Madrid, was the creator of the Madrid Championship.[2]
- 18 April: After eliminating Recreation San Sebastian from Copa del Rey, Madrid faced Athletic Bilbao in the final and won thanks to a goal by Manuel Prast. This was the first official title in the history of the Club.[2]
