Surat Urban Development Authority is the urban planning agency of Surat, India. SUDA was formed in 1976, under Gujarat Town Planning and Urban Development Act - 1976, which covers SMC (Surat Municipal Corporation) and 722 km area of 195 villages surrounding SMC.[1]

Infrastructure

SUDA is constructing a new road from National Highway 8, near Kamrej, into the centre of the city. It is due to be completed by February 2018.[2]
