Anopyrops is a monotypic moth genus in the family Epipyropidae. Anopyrops corticina, its sole species, was described by Karl Jordan in 1928[1] and is found in French Guiana and Suriname.[2]
The length of the forewings is 8.5 mm for males and 13.5 mm for females. The wings are drab brown, but the abdominal margin of the hindwings is white in males. Females are also drab brown but there are numerous small white dots on the forewings.[3]
