Elmer N. Schmuck

Elmer Nicholas Schmuck (1882-April 28, 1936) was third bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Wyoming. Following education at Seabury Divinity School, he married Katherine Currie in 1905. He was rector of St. Paul's Church, Owatonna, Minnesota from 1906 to 1911, and rector of St. John's Church, Linden Hills, Minneapolis from 1911 to 1923. After two years as rector of St. Mark's Church, Denver, Colorado, he was consecrated as Bishop of Wyoming on December 13, 1929. He is buried in the cathedral close.
