Timocratica melanostriga is a moth in the family Depressariidae. It was described by Vitor O. Becker in 1982. It is found in Santa Catarina, Brazil.[1]
The wingspan is about 21 mm. The ground colour of the forewings is white, with the basal half of a number of veins, the fold and the middle of the cell dashed with dark greyish fuscous. The underside is white, with the same veins marked with fuscous. The hindwings has the veins and dorsal half of the cell fuscous.[2]
