Frank Holt

Frank Lee Holt is an American archaeologist and author focusing on Central Asia. He is an Associate Professor of History at the University of Houston, and is recognized as one of the leading authorities on Alexander the Great, Hellenistic Asia, and numismatics.[1][2] Holt received his PhD in History from the University of Virginia.

Holt has written five books and almost fifty articles,[3] primarily concerning Alexander the Great and the Hellenization of Afghanistan.
