The Janáček May International Music Festival (Mezinárodní hudební festival Janáčkův máj) is an annual classical music festival founded in Ostrava, near Janáček's birthplace Hukvaldy, in 1976. The festival usually runs for three weeks at the end of May and beginning of June.[1][2]
