Ciro Cruz Zepeda Peña (Jutiapa, El Salvador, May 3, 1945) is a politician with a long political career in his native country. He has served as the leader of the Partido de Conciliación Nacional. He was a deputy for San Salvador in the Legislative Assembly of El Salvador, and served as the President of the Legislative Assembly 2000-2001, 2002-2006 and 2009-2011.[1][2][3] On 8 December of the 2011, Cruz Zepeda chaired the plenary legislative while apparently drunk, causing anger among his fellow members of the legislature.[4][5]
