George Tony "Smooth" Lyons (January 25, 1891 – August 12, 1981) was an American Major League Baseball pitcher who appeared in 7 games for the 1920 St. Louis Cardinals and 26 additional games for the 1924 St. Louis Browns.[1]

Lyons was born in Bible Grove, Illinois and died in Nevada, Missouri and is buried there in Newton Burial Park.
