Naoya Abe (安部 直也, Abe Naoya, May 17, 1937 in Tokyo, Japan – September 1, 2019), known by his pen name George Abe (安部 譲二, Abe George), was a manga writer known for his manga Rainbow: Nisha Rokubō no Shichinin in collaboration with the artist Masasumi Kakizaki. He died on September 1, 2019, aged 82.[1]
