Bolba (Hindi: बोलबा) is one of ten Tehsils (known in English as 'Blocks') in the Simdega District of the Indian state of Jharkhand.[1] The block contains about 26 villages.[2][1] The Bolba block is considered a community development block.[citation needed] Simdega City, Rajagangapur City, Bamra City, and Biramitrapur City are nearby cities.[citation needed]

The Bolba block is bordered by two other Simdega blocks: Kersai (to the northwest) and Thethaitangar (to the northeast).[3]

Geography

Dangadi, situated in the Bolba Block, is a waterfall and a popular picnic spot in Simdega.

The Bolba block has an elevation of 452 m (1,483 ft).[citation needed]
