Fernando Richarte Martínez (born December 12, 1991) is a Mexican professional gridiron football wide receiver for the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at UANL and it is also part of the Dinos Saltillo of the Liga de Fútbol Americano Profesional (LFA), a professional spring football league in Mexico.

College career

Born in Monterrey, Nuevo León,[1] Richarte played college football for the Auténticos Tigres of UANL, where he also earned a major in Law.[2]

Professional career

Richarte played for the Dinos Saltillo of the Professional American Football League of Mexico from 2017 to 2019.[3]

In January 2019, Richarte was picked by the BC Lions in the CFL–LFA Draft, he was the team's second selection and the sixteenth overall pick.[1]
