José Manuel Gomes da Silva (born 24 September 1976 in Vila do Conde), commonly known as Zé Gomes, is a Portuguese retired footballer who played as a right back.

Gomes appeared in 165 Primeira Liga matches during seven seasons, scoring a combined five goals for Rio Ave FC (six years) and C.S. Marítimo (one). His younger brother Vítor was also a professional footballer, and they played together at the former club.[1]
