Mullah Mohammad Hasan was the Taliban governor of Kandahar and foreign minister for the Taliban.

He was born in Oruzgan and attended a maddressa in Quetta, Pakistan.[1] He spoke to Reuters in 2003 via satellite phone and was believed to still be alive.

On 23 September 2014, Hasan was killed by Pakistani military forces in the Boya area of North Waziristan.[2] Before his death, he had been released from an Afghan prison.
