The Santa Catarina gubernatorial election, 2010 were held on October 3, as part of the general elections in Brazil. In election, there was elected as governor Raimundo Colombo of the Democrats. The losing candidate, Ideli Salvatti was chosen by president Dilma Rousseff to assume the Ministry of Fishing and Aquaculture.
