Daniel Håkansson is a Swedish singer, guitarist and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the avant-garde metal band Diablo Swing Orchestra.

Although Diablo Swing Orchestra credits all its members as songwriters, he considers himself as one of the two main songwriters with other guitarist Pontus Mantefors.[1]

History

Håkansson is one of the founding members of Diablo Swing Orchestra in 2003.[2] The same year, the band released its first EP, Borderline Hymns. Since the band has released four albums: The Butcher's Ballroom in 2006, Sing Along Songs for the Damned & Delirious in 2009, Pandora's Piñata in 2012 and Pacifisticuffs in 2017.
