Dan Lord is a former lead singer and songwriter of the U.S. rock band Pain and an author. His book is entitled Choosing Joy: The Secret to Living a Fully Christian Life, published by Our Sunday Visitor.

Personal life

The band Pain was active during the 1990s and early 2000s.[1] Though raised Catholic, Lord did not practice his faith until his personal conversion began in the late 1990s.[2] He is currently the Director of Religious Education and Evangelization at the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist (Charleston, South Carolina).[3]

Lord wrote his book after being approached by Our Sunday Visitor, which asked him to author a book on Choosing Joy.[4]
