1993 studio album by Kathy Mattea
Good News is the first album of Christmas music released by American country music artist Kathy Mattea . It was released in late 1993 on Mercury Records . "Mary, Did You Know?" and "What a Wonderful Beginning" were both covered by Kenny Rogers (the former, as a duet with Wynonna Judd ) on his 1996 Christmas album The Gift .
