This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Sun Creator (talk | contribs) at 13:27, 2 December 2019 (top: General fixes, replaced: a Oxepin → an Oxepin). The present address (URL) is a permanent link to this revision, which may differ significantly from the current revision.

Benzoxepin is an oxygen-containing heterocycle consisting of an Oxepin ring and a benzene ring. There are three isomers:

1-benzoxepin 2-benzoxepin 3-benzoxepin

The bicyclic ringsystem of the benzoxepins is part of certain naturally occurring compounds. E.g. Perilloxin (I) from Perilla frutescens (variant Acuta),[1] and Tenual (II) and Tenucarb (III) from Asphodeline tenuior.[2]
