Ambrosius Haingura

Ambrosius Hamutenya Haingura (30 June 1957 – 21 September 2000) was a Namibian activist and politician. A member of the South West Africa People's Organization, he was an internal activist for SWAPO during the Namibian War of Independence. Following independence, he served as Regional Councillor for Rundu Urban Constituency from 1992 until his death. From 1993–1995, he served as the first Regional Governor of the Kavango Region.[1]
