Eduard Vallory (born in Barcelona, 1971) is a Catalan social analyst and change manager. He is the current Chairman of UNESCOCAT, the Center for UNESCO of Catalonia,[1] from which in 2016 he launched the three-years alliance for education change "Escola Nova 21".[2] Prior to this, he was the first director of the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics (2006–12).[3] He has also been Research Fellow at Fitzwilliam College (University of Cambridge), visiting scholar at New York University, and chief of staff of the Catalan Ministry for Universities, Research, and the Information Society with Minister Prof. Andreu Mas-Colell. He is a member of the Education in Advanced Teaching Advisory Board at the University of the People.[4]

He is the author of the first academic research at global level on the World Scouting movement.[5] The research was published in the book World Scouting: Educating for Global Citizenship (Palgrave MacMillan, 2012).
