Victor Kissine (Russian: Виктор Романович Кисин; born 15 March 1953) is a Russian-born classical composer.

Biography

Kissine is a has a PhD in musicology from the Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg State Conservatory, where he studied under professor Mikhail Druskin [uk], among others.[1]

He has lived in Belgium since 1990 where he is a professor of musical analysis and orchestration at INSAS and at the Royal Conservatory of Mons.[1] In May 2008 he became a member of the Royal Academies for Science and the Arts of Belgium.[citation needed]
