Filathlitikos was a women's volleyball team from Thessaloniki. Filathlitikos was one of teams who had been starring in the Greek Women's Volleyball League, in the past. It had won four championships, dominating in the end of 80's decade . It won its last championship the season 2002-03. Later it was started a falling course. In season 2006-07 the team relegated from first division championship because of financial problems and its place was taken by Epikouros Polichnis.[1] The falling course continued and finally Filathlitikos was absorbed by PAOK women's team. [2]
