Hayatullah Hayat (Pashto: حيات الله حيات) (born 1973) is an Afghan politician and previous governor of Nangarhar Province. Hayat was appointed as governor of Kandahar Province in February 2019,[1] when the former governor, Zalmai Wesa was injured in the attack by the Taliban in which the police chief of Kandahar Abdul Raziq Achakzai also got killed.
