The Nuli, Nuloi or Nouloi were a legendary race of people with backward-facing, eight-toed feet, living on Mount Nulus in India, described by Greek historian Megasthenes is his Indica. They also appear in Medieval bestiaries, like the Nuremberg Chronicle.[1]
