Xometry

Xometry is an on-demand industrial parts marketplace founded in 2013.[1] It is based in Gaithersburg, Maryland and has raised a total of $113 million in venture capital funding.[1]
Its CEO and co-founder is Randy Altschuler[1][2][3] and some of its customers include BMW and General Electric.[4][5]
History
In December 2019, Xometry acquired Shift, a Munich based on-demand manufacturing marketplace, which will now be known as Xometry Europe.[6]
