Teretistris fernandinae range |
The Yellow-headed warbler (Teretistris fernandinae) is a species of bird formerly placed in the family Parulidae, now in the Cuban warbler family, Teretistridae. It is endemic to extreme western Cuba and is the sister species to its fellow Cuban endemic, the Oriente warbler, which, as its common name implies, is found in Cuba's east.
Its natural habitats are dry forests and lowland moist forests.
