Pselnophorus japonicus is a moth of the family Pterophoridae. It known from Japan (Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu, Tsushima, Tanega-shima, Yakushima).

The length of the forewings is 8–9 millimetres (0.31–0.35 in).
