The Central District or Asaluyeh County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان عسلویه) is a district (bakhsh) in Asaluyeh County, Bushehr Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 43,883, in 4,925 families.[1] The District has two cities: Asaluyeh and Nakhl Taqi. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Asaluyeh Rural District and Akhand Rural District. The Districts's establishment was officially announced on 12 December 2012.[2]
