Layla Kaylif (born 2 September 1971) is a British Emirati singer-songwriter and screenwriter.[1] She began her musical career in 1999, when she released her first album Enough Rope. In 2015, she won the IWC filmmaker award at the Dubai International Film Festival for her script, The Letter Writer,[2][3] a romantic drama set in the 1960s.
