Robert Nugent Watts (before 1821 – April 19, 1867) was a political figure in Canada East. He represented the electoral district of Drummond in the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Canada from 1841 to 1851.

He was an assistant in the office of the civil secretary for Lower Canada. Watts lived in Drummondville in the home of his cousin Frederick George Heriot, from whom he inherited property. In 1839, he married Charlotte, the daughter of William Sheppard. Watts was lieutenant-colonel in the militia.[1]

His son William John later served in the Quebec assembly.
