G. N. Anbu Chezhiyan is a Financier and Producer in Tamil film industry. He is the head of the production house, Gopuram films. He was alleged for suicide of G. Venkateswaran, film producer in 2003.[1] He was arrested in 2011 along with his associates Murali and Ramakrishnan for extorting money based on a complaint from the film producer.[2][3] The extortion case was foisted in order to avoid repaying the loan and the case ended in aquittal. Anbu Chezhiyan's name was mentioned in a suicide note written by producer Ashok kumar[4]
