Tabuan located at the entrance to Semangka Bay in the Sunda Strait

Tabuan (also spelled 'Taboean') is an island in the Sunda Strait, between Java and Sumatra. It is one of the larger islands in the strait, and lies at the entrance to Sumatra's Semangka Bay.
