Regional names
"Kodippaalai" in Tamil, "Wattakakka" in Malayalam, "Gway Dock" in Myanmar (Burmese).
Geographical source
Dregea volubilis plant mostly found in western ghats of Tamil Nadu and Kerala, particularly in Nilgris and Wayanad Districts.
