Birmingham Excelsior Football Club was an English football club founded in 1876.[1]

History

Birmingham Excelsior participated in the FA Cup for five seasons, from 1883–84 to 1887–88.[2]

Famous players

George Tait played in a friendly international for England against Wales in February 1881.[3] He was the only player to be capped for England while an Excelsior player.[1]
