Malkhed Dam, is an earthfill dam on Kholad river near Chandur, Amravati district in state of Maharashtra in India.

Specifications

The height of the dam above lowest foundation is 17.05 m (55.9 ft) while the length is 1,422 m (4,665 ft). The volume content is 481 km3 (115 cu mi) and gross storage capacity is 10,900.00 km3 (2,615.05 cu mi).[2]
