The 2020 Hampton Pirates football team will represent Hampton University in the 2020 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They will be led by third-year head coach Robert Prunty and play their home games at Armstrong Stadium. They will be second-year members of the Big South Conference.

Previous season

The Pirates finished the 2019 season 5–7, 1–5 in Big South play to finish in a three-way tie for fifth place.

Schedule

Hampton's schedule was announced on February 4, 2020. The schedule release included ten of the eleven games the Pirates will play in 2020, along with a note stating that Hampton will be "announcing an additional game at a later date."[1]
