Sumichrast's wren (Hylorchilus sumichrasti), also known as the slender-billed wren, is a species of bird in the family Troglodytidae. It is endemic to Mexico.

Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and plantations . It is threatened by habitat loss.

The common name of this species commemorates the Mexican naturalist Francis Sumichrast.[2]
