William Wesley Kendall (August 31, 1839 – August 14, 1920) was a Medal of Honor recipient of the American Civil War.[1] He served with Company A of the 49th Indiana infantry.[2] Kendall was also a military conductor on the L. F. & L. Railroad.[3]

Kendall was awarded the Medal of Honor because he "Voluntarily led the company in a charge and was the first to enter the enemy's works, taking a number of prisoners."[4]
