Maurice Alter (born 1925/26) is an Australian billionaire property developer.[1]

Biography

Maurice Alter was born to a Jewish family[2] in Poland.[3] He emigrated to Australia after the Second World War.[1]

Alter started his Pacific Group property development business in 1979, and it is active mostly in Victoria and South Australia, including the Werribee Plaza and Pacific Epping in Melbourne.[3]

Alter is married with two children and lives in Melbourne, Victoria.[1]
