Higinio Vélez Carrión (born c. 1947) is a Cuban baseball manager. After leading Santiago de Cuba to three straight championships in the Cuban National Series (19992001),[1] he became the manager of the Cuban national baseball team, which he led to the gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics.[2]
