Isaac David Kehimkar is an Indian naturalist, photographer, author and teacher.[1] Known as India’s Butterfly Man,[2] Isaac Kehimkar has authored many books which includes the best seller The Book of Indian Butterflies published by Bombay Natural History Society. On 18th of November, 2016 he released his book titled "Butterflies of India". He was born and brought up in a Marathi-speaking Jew family.

in 2017, he retired from Bombay Natural History Society and joined iNaturewatch foundation.
