The Romanian Soldier Monument Carei

The Battle of Carei was the last stage of liberation of Romania's current territory during the Second World War, and part of the Battle of Debrecen.[1] On October 25, 1944, the cities of Carei and Satu Mare were released, and the Vienna Dictate was canceled de facto. By a 1959 decree, this day was established as the Day of the Romanian Army.[2][3]
