Cyphoma versicolor is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Ovulidae, the ovulids, cowry allies or false cowries.[2]

The maximum recorded shell length is 21 mm.[3]
Habitat
Minimum recorded depth is 45 m.[3] Maximum recorded depth is 50 m.[3]
