Lorenzo A. Babcock (1837–1864) was an American politician and the first attorney general of Minnesota Territory 1849–1853.

Born in Sheldon, Vermont, Babcock also served in the Minnesota Territorial House of Representatives in 1849 and then in the Minnesota Territorial Council 1852–1853.[1]
